House of Shakkathi

So I finished book 5 in Dia's series. I hope to get some of these published, but it really depends on my current editor.. they're pretty busy though, so delay delay delay ... I haven't been able to get to the book signings due to the injury I recieved at the cashiering job. I suppose I could go, but I can't pick up anything of sizeable weight without a good amount of pain. I'm going to try to go this wednesday though. It'll be painful, but if I take enough medication I might make it through.

Indigo Flight : Butterfly

I've also decided that I'm going to extend the series to 9 books (so far lol) but I'm thinking of releasing it within books of 3-in-1 .. I'm not sure how they'll stand on their own and I don't want the first to turn people off because the plot is more low key rather than all in the face with action etc

There was something rather traumatic that happened at work, though not in the store .. one of my friends/co-workers Beth died on the 22nd ... I might be a bit slower and distracted with things with the whole work/grieving that's going on so .. yeah, might slow down again with the writing & so on, though I'm still trying to find an inexpensive way to get my books edited so they can be published this year (still have to do artwork as well, gah not enough time)

Well, another year has come and gone. Not everything I wanted to get done was, but I'm more or less back on track with writing (some anyway) my books. I haven't done any drawing aside from the quick sketches for the covers. I've pretty much just been writing... surprisingly I've got more done, but then again it has been a while since I published the last of the Drag Shergi Mysteries .. Oh well. I finished Rune #2 early yesterday morning, Traipsing Along the Veil, so now I'm back to writing Dia's series .. #3 Butterfly

So, book 2 of the series for Indigo Flight is done today

I'm not sure what else to say .. not without giving away what happens.. but the repetative nature of the compound is going to get a lot different ... Dia might not know what's going on behind the scenes, but she's started to remember little things about what should be instead of what is currently going on ...

Anyway, I finished another book.

This one is the first in a series called Indigo Flight.

Indigo Flight : Caterpillar follows Dia as she wakes with no memories about any day previous. First she has to figure out who she is, then who the others are around them, before she can figure out what to do about existing.. It's a wild time, but even with excitement comes danger... Is the private school more than it appears? Oh definitely so.

So, I've finally got the book done .. I don't feel like I got everything in there done like I wanted to .. oh well

Aubergine Embers =

Prince Caladium, the youngest child of Queen Rozalynde and Prince Danny, doesn't like being around many people. He can't go on that way, though; his sister Princess Valmai is searching for her future mate. So he won't be a problem, the parents send Prince Caladium away. Slowly expanding his knowledge of the world, he opens his heart to others. What he finds as his last hurdle is to settle down. Prince Caladium doesn't know if he can find a mate. Sure he's been betrothed to Telyn since they were infants, but at the end will they be together or apart?

A Political/Family Drama/Romance Novel ...

So, heh I'm on to write more books! The next should be shorter so it won't be 2 months before another update heh

So, this is a little late, but I got Drag Shergi Mysteries: The Complete Collection published a while ago.

When that was done I finished off the book Hours of Bellicosity ... it took about three months to write out about four hundred pages ... Now I'm writing Aubergine Embers. It'll be about the same length, but I'm not as sure of what will happen as the other book I finished so I don't know how long it will take to do.

Aubergine Embers stars Prince Caladium as he goes through teenage to adult, the second child of the rulers of the United Kingdom of Tallis and Ramia. He watches his sister find love despite political situations. He also watches as the Duke and Duchess of Imani and Tarquin (in the Kingdom of Ramia) find love in their 'lower' royal station. Prince Caladium lives and learns, though he isn't quite sure about finding love himself. Sure he has a betrothed, but that was decided before he was born. The ultimate choice is up to both of them. Even if he wanted to, would Telyn want to marry him?

Yay!

As usual there are small things that didn't go well, but all in all it's good enough not to mess with ... just another thing to watch out for next time heh

My third series is officially complete

Heh, sorry about the long wait everyone ^^;

I finally got the last of the Drag Shergi Mysteries back so I was able to upload them to Lulu

Hopefully next week they should come in the mail so I can approve the print versions.

Meanwhile, the electronic versions are available for download on Lulu

-flails- so glad to have these all done now ..

On another note, I've been able to write two to twelve pages per day in my new books .. I have about eight going silmultaneously, so hopefully for the next year at least one new one can be published out of them .. Here's the new list : Indigo Flight, Charisse Finishing School, Hours of Bellicosity, Aubergine Embers, Law of the Horde, Project Chanthar, Metal Man, & Traipsing Along the Veil
