Finished the last in Dia's series, #9 called Cage
A girl without a past is struggling to build her future. It’s difficult though, as every day further back than three months is lost to her. Signs are taped over everything she owns with notes to help her know what they are. At least in her home she is safe. But what about in the world where everything changes so fast that it throws even the most knowledgeable into chaos? Follow Dia in her quest to stay sane in a world of insanity. – Book 9 : Cage. Dia has figured out what she wants for her future. Will her past cripple any solid attempts at it? Hopefully Indy won’t be too disappointed in his choice for a girlfriend...
The entire 9 book series (released as three 3-in-1 collections) took 13 months to write (including a 1 month break I took). Only the first Indigo Flight: Into the Wild is published so far. I hope to have the others edited then published soon.

Done with book 8 in Dia's story...now there's only one left
A girl without a past is struggling to build her future. It’s difficult though, as every day further back than three months is lost to her. Signs are taped over everything she owns with notes to help her know what they are. At least in her home she is safe. But what about in the world where everything changes so fast that it throws even the most knowledgeable into chaos? Follow Dia in her quest to stay sane in a world of insanity. – Book 8 : Bird. Dia didn’t find what she wanted at the compound, so she returned to her school. There it’s back to work. She might not be able to figure out her past, but she can at least create a new future. It looks like there might be something special developing for Dia and Indy...

I finished this today ... I need an editor still to get all of the others before it reviewed ... -sigh- oh well
Every hundred years or so, a gifted child is born. They can be raised for either good or evil. Dey was no such person. In fact, she was quite ordinary. It was Koen who was the special one. How those two met is a story in itself, but when they were reunited as teens somehow it developed into something even more extraordinary.
Genre : Fantasy/Medieval/Adventure/Romance
Pages : 214 (preformatted)

Done with book #6 in the Indigo Flight series about Dia ...
– Book 6 : Bees. Dia’s still in school, but the challenges still swarm around her. The outside attackers have been eliminated. There is still trouble within though as the teens develop intense feelings for each other, even love leading to marriage proposals.
While working on the last chapter, I had an idea on a completely new book. I can't get it out of my head, so I'm going to write it out before I continue on with Indigo Flight. It's called Ordinary Dey. I'm going back to medieval fantasy with that one. It is my favorite era/genre after all...

I suppose I should put this here too, though i've been trying to put them on the calendar.
I messed up my shoulder back on Feb 15th. It turns out I just strained the tendons so they freaked out and got inflamed with fluid collecting all over it which made my shoulder swell and then be more painful. I have good news, there's no tearing on the tendons, just the swelling so it should heal in an appropriate time (6-8 weeks, ack) and I can get back to normal things.
Meanwhile since I don't have to use my shoulder much to write I've been doing that. My current editor has the first 2 of the 3 of the 3-in-1 book for Dia's Story (Indigo Flight) and I hope to have the last one soon so they can be published. This one won't have as much artwork as the others sadly, but I managed to get some character headshots done back in the first week of Feb before this happened.
Back to work now, hope you all are well

So I finished book 5 in Dia's series. I hope to get some of these published, but it really depends on my current editor.. they're pretty busy though, so delay delay delay ... I haven't been able to get to the book signings due to the injury I recieved at the cashiering job. I suppose I could go, but I can't pick up anything of sizeable weight without a good amount of pain. I'm going to try to go this wednesday though. It'll be painful, but if I take enough medication I might make it through.

Dia survived a semester, but the challenges of both a new place and her mental problems might shatter the new life she’s made. It doesn’t help that the attackers have increased their aggression.

I finished writing book 3 in Dia's story
Indigo Flight : Butterfly
I've also decided that I'm going to extend the series to 9 books (so far lol) but I'm thinking of releasing it within books of 3-in-1 .. I'm not sure how they'll stand on their own and I don't want the first to turn people off because the plot is more low key rather than all in the face with action etc
There was something rather traumatic that happened at work, though not in the store .. one of my friends/co-workers Beth died on the 22nd ... I might be a bit slower and distracted with things with the whole work/grieving that's going on so .. yeah, might slow down again with the writing & so on, though I'm still trying to find an inexpensive way to get my books edited so they can be published this year (still have to do artwork as well, gah not enough time)

Happy belated New Years!
Well, another year has come and gone. Not everything I wanted to get done was, but I'm more or less back on track with writing (some anyway) my books. I haven't done any drawing aside from the quick sketches for the covers. I've pretty much just been writing... surprisingly I've got more done, but then again it has been a while since I published the last of the Drag Shergi Mysteries .. Oh well. I finished Rune #2 early yesterday morning, Traipsing Along the Veil, so now I'm back to writing Dia's series .. #3 Butterfly
I hope you all have a great new year!
